I`m currently co-parenting with the mother of my kids. But at first, it was never easy in such a way that I almost just gave up. She was difficult all the time and took everything too personally. Maybe it was because of how our relationship ended, and she was a bit bitter about it. Every conversation we had ended up as an argument. I even had to block her from WhatsApp at some point, and then again blocking her to me felt like I was also blocking my sons.

To solve this issue, I had to sit her down and we began to talk like adults. I made her realize that it's not about us anymore, it's about the boys. Me and her fighting is not healthy for our relationship with our sons, and us as their parents. We came to an agreement that we accept what's done is done. Things didn't work out between us, we need to focus on what's best for the kids. Now we get along just fine...even though every now and then she gets off track and I remind her of our agreement. What also helps is that I`ve been there for my boys from the beginning.
